WHEN READING SUSPENSE FOR THE DOG LOVER, IT’S ALWAYS GOOD TO HAVE THE CANINE INPUT.
Peggy Gaffney read from the first mystery in the Kate Killoy Series of Suspense for the Dog Lover, Fashion Goes to the Dogs. This was part of the Sisters in Crime’s Murder by the Minute event held in the Avon Public Library, Avon, CT. Peggy, along with four other members of Sisters in Crime, was able to share a selection from her book giving the audience a peek at the plot, setting and an introduction to the characters both human and canine. This story which revolves around international intrigue is set at the dog show in New York City,
Following the readings the authors met with members of the audience to talk about the books, and to autograph copies of their books. The meet-and-greet part of the event gave Peggy a chance to talk about the other books in the series, Puppy Pursuit which is the second book in the series which involves the theft of millions by a hacker and the third book in the series National Security, which will be out this summer, has Kate dealing with spies.
